Blake’s Last Day of Room 1 Preschool by Annemarie

Hard to believe how quickly this year went by.  It seems like just yesterday that we were getting him ready for the first day.  While there’s been many a day recently that his morning mantra has turned into “I don’t want to go to school”, as soon as he gets to the parking lot, he jumps out of the van, runs to the playground or classroom, and doesn’t hardly look back when I leave.  The smiles he has on his face at the closing circle time when he gets picked up make me sad that we won’t be part of this sweet school again next year.

Just for fun, it’s always sweet to look at where we’ve been and how far we’ve come since then!

The kids all signed books for the teachers.  Blake jumped right in and signed his name, “Blakers”, for his teachers.  Miss Silvia has been such a source of love and support for our sweet Blake all year long.

He’s made some fun and goofy friends along the way.

He was pretty excited to see that Mommy and Daddy were sitting RIGHT behind him for the performance.

Blake and his classmates got to sing two of his most favorite songs….”Jesus Loves Me” and “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High”….for us.  He has really gotten into signing lately and is so good.  He performed his heart out and we loved watching it!

Somehow his button came undone but that didn’t stop him from raising those hands high in worship!

We loved this sweet class so much!!!

Miss Caitlyn is incredible and we’ve loved having her be part of our family and preschool life the last 3 years.  We’ll miss her so much!

Speaking from experience, the years will go by in a flash. Fortunately the memories come flooding back so we can relive those momentous times. You adapted so well to the preschool and relished in that atmosphere. That enjoyment of learning followed you through college and is present to this day. I know you have instilled in your little ones the love of learning. Good luck with homeschooling.

    Dear BLAKERS,
A whole year of school is gone already? Wow! You have done so much and learned so much, it is amazing! Just looking at the picture of you the first day and it shows how you have grown taller and older looking!😊 Next year school will be different but there will be so many new things to learn and do! I am so happy you love to sing! That makes God’s heart happy too! We are so proud of you! We love you sooooooo much! Hugs and kisses! Ma
