It’s becoming pretty bad that I only snap pictures with my iphone these days….but I guess I’m still snapping, capturing some of the super fun moments with our little man…so that’s a good thing. 🙂
We went to the zoo on Monday afternoon with Dayna, Hadley and Chloe. It was the windiest day and that probably explained why we were about the only ones at the zoo. There might not have been many people, BUT the animals were out. This was the first time that I’d actually seen many of them….including the snow leopard. So pretty!
Since it was less than crowded, it was the perfect time to let Burke play on the grassy slope. Normally, it’s overflowing with bigger kids, but today, we had it all to ourselves! I chose to have Burke slide down on the food tray that was there so he wouldn’t catch too much speed. I got some cute video that I’ll have to upload later, but he really loved it!
Burke was very loved for Valentine’s day….he got quite a few cards in the mail from family and friends. He wanted to see what this one said, and he loved it!
I got into my van for an afternoon errand my gas tank was full. Nothing says love quite like that……since I didn’t fill it up myself! 🙂 Thanks hubby!
Last week we got a text from Jen asking if she could watch Burke on Tuesday night. We hadn’t planned on doing anything, but since she offered, and her hubby was out of town, we agreed! It was the first time that Burke was left alone with just another adult (as in no other babies to keep him entertained). She said he got a little fussy a few times, was wondering where we were, but when we got home, he was in bed fast asleep. We were pleasantly surprised.
We went for a sushi dinner and a movie (This Means War) and it was really nice to be out. It was a little tough to drive away at first, but we managed…AND I don’t think we talked about Burke the entire time we were gone. 🙂
On Friday we pretty much spent the entire day doing laundry and getting ready for our trip to Las Vegas. Burke spent some time exploring in Daddy’s closet while Mommy packed.
