Daddy wasn’t feeling too well all weekend, so we skipped out on the Super Bowl parties that we were invited to, and instead, just watched it as a family at the house.
We ended up spending quite a bit of time at the house this week. Burke was looking mighty dapper on Monday.
We did get out on Wednesday for lunch to meet up with Danielle and KarenAnne from AppFolio. Danielle got Burke one of the cute little person AF shirts and he sported it like a natural. I think he’s ready for the team!
He also had his 9 month checkup with Dr. Iris and we learned that he’s not shooting up the growth charts at such a rapid pace anymore. He’s letting all the other babies catch up. He’s in about the 75th percentile for both weight and height at this point.
He always does so well with the ped office…..even when he has to get his iron checked (which was great – yeah!) and have two vaccines. He wasn’t too sure what to think about the blue crayon band-aids.
Back at the house, he was exposed to his first Pixar flick. He was quite captivated with the opening scene of Cars.
On Thursday, I ended up starting to feel sick, so we skipped out on our activities for the day and stayed in our jammies for most of it. Burke has really grown to love his I Went Walking book. Since we didn’t get to visit Infant Times, we read through it a few times at home.
Friday was also spent at home due to me not feeling well at all – boo!! Loved this snapshot of Burke checking out the view from his crib.
