Thank Goodness for the iPhone
We are back home, but laying low this week so Burke can get all better. It wasn’t filled with many activities that didn’t involve our living room and my iPhone. So, Mommy did get a little happy with taking pictures (mostly with her newly found favorite Instagram). So, here’s a photo dump of our boring week at home!
First thing first….check in with Dr. Iris to see how Burke was doing. She gave him a good check up that he’s back on track to health real soon! Woohoo!

Nasty side effect of the antibiotics is a lot of poopy diapers….so we had a lot of outfit changes this week. New outfit, same day. This one I like to call, “Where’s Burke?”.

A lot of playing and then good naps this week. Molly continues to warm up to Burke. She’s more brave when he’s sleeping.

Without a lot of activities with our friends this week, Burke got to help Mommy with some much needed laundry.

We did get a nice visit from Emily that comprised of a walk to the park. It was super hot outside, which required some rehydration.

Burke is such a boy…..came home from the park with dirty toes after playing in the mud.

Burke didn’t get to go, but I did get out of the house on Friday morning for a bit to attend the first MOPS of the season. I was so glad to be out, see some of my Mommy friends, and get to do the planned craft. This was one of the very first things I ever pinned, but hadn’t gotten around to making. So glad that we got to put together the wristlet key chains at our meeting. I LOVE mine!!

Back at the house after, it seemed that Burke was getting his appetite back. He downed some cucumbers for lunch.

He was feeling much better, so we took up Hadley on her invitation to join her in the backyard pool. Burke LOVED it! Check out that cute belly in his swimming trunks!

I whipped up a quick dinner for us on Friday night and it was a hit! So easy too!!

I was even more pleased to see Burke eat it right up!! So glad that he’s feeling better, and will look forward to getting out of the house again next week!!

My favorite place to put little ones in the laundry room – the dryer…and mine too, when the dryer is runnng and it’s cold in the house. Hop right on, get warm, and read a book.
Nice wristlet keychain – happy colors.
The photo in which Burke is eating the cucumber has so many shades of brown that Burke’s eyes look brown…big brown eyes like his Mommy.
Pool? February? Brrr? = )
Love the chunky legs at the park. Glad he’s feeling better! : )
First thing I noticed in the park rehydration picture was his dirty toes, and thought he must have had some FUN! Autumn used to use her bumpo or whatever that is on the dryer when doing laundry. Kept L. from taking off too quickly. Anne, never tried the warm dryer for reading..sounds comfy! I LOVED Burke’s grin in those shots.
