Look Ma, No Carrier by Annemarie

We had PEP this morning in the park, and we are really enjoying seeing our baby friends every Wednesday. Burke was unusually fussy this morning though, very unlike him. I thought that it might be the starting of teething, and so we stopped at Lazy Acres and got some of the homeopathic remedy that a few people have recommended. When we got back in the truck, he threw an absolute fit. Nothing was soothing him, but then I fed him in the truck, even though he’d just eaten at the park, and that seemed to do the trick.

When we got back home, he went back to sleep, and pretty much did that the rest of the afternoon. I guess it’s a growth spurt…not that he really needs another one.

We visited with Allison and her boys, Marcus and Micah, tonight at their place. Turns out that they live walking distance from us, so we loaded into the stroller, sans infant carrier, with frozen pizza in hand, and hung out there for a bit this evening.

He totally fits in the carrier as a big boy, but I don’t like not being able to see him when we walk. Luckily it was a very short walk there and back.

On the way home, I realized that I had forgotten to take the key with me when I left. Daddy was at a work dinner, so I stopped by Dayna’s to get our key (thank goodness we’d given them a copy). We got in and were all safe and sound for the night. Phew!

He does look like such a big boy! Oh momma he is growing up so fast!! Hey, you need to find a super good key hiding spot. Next time Dayna may not be home, ouch! I learned a lesson when we had to break a window once. Not fun!
